Michelle heggie school social worker
Hi, my name is Michelle Heggie and I’m the Social Worker for Longview School.
I am a native of North Carolina. I received my Bachelors degree in Social Work from Meredith College in Raleigh NC, my Masters degree in Social Work from Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville NC and my Life Coach certification from OCI, in California. I am also a certified North Carolina Parent Educator and a Family Wellness Instructor. I enjoy working with people and assisting them with their day to day life situations. I have been working with the children and families in Wake County Schools for 25 years and love it more today than I did 25 years ago when I started.
I have served in many positions with the Wake County Public School System and all of them have been unique in their own way. The greatest thing that is shared by all of the positions is the awesome children and families I have had an opportunity to be a part of their lives and serve. Working with the children and families of WCPSS is very rewarding and has brought me great joy.
